Two-fluid Nozzles
Two-fluid nozzle is called “air atomizing nozzle”. This group nozzle requires a liquid line and an air source to create fine mist.
The following two methods are used for mixing liquid with air.
Liquid and air are mixed in the nozzle.
This method is generally applicable to flow rates from low to high.
In this method. Liquid and air are mixed outside the nozzle, there are the following two systems.
*Pressure system : This system incorporates a pump or pressure tank to feed a liquid under pressure.
*Siphon system : This system incorporates the suction effect of air to feed liquid.
